Award-Winning Science, Strong Industry Engagement, and Continued Innovation in Oral Fluid Toxicology

CURA Diagnostics was proud to participate in ADLM 2026, held July 26–30 in Anaheim, California. This year's meeting marked an exciting milestone for CURA, with recognition of our scientific innovation, strong interest in our comprehensive oral fluid toxicology solution, and productive discussions with industry leaders about potential collaborations.

CURA Poster Receives 2026 Academy Distinguished Abstract Award

We are honored to announce that CURA's poster, “A High-Throughput, Fully Automated Magnetic Bead-Based Extraction for Multi-Class Drug of Abuse Analysis in Oral Fluid,” was selected as a 2026 Academy Distinguished Abstract.

This recognition is particularly meaningful: only 18 of the 952 accepted abstracts at ADLM 2026 received this distinction.

The study demonstrates CURA's innovative approach to automating sample preparation for multi-class drug-of-abuse testing in oral fluid. By combining magnetic bead-based solid-phase extraction with high-throughput automation, the workflow is designed to simplify laboratory operations, improve efficiency and consistency, and support scalable LC-MS/MS toxicology testing.

We are grateful to the Academy for this recognition and proud of our team's continued commitment to advancing practical innovations in clinical and forensic toxicology.

Strong Interest in CURA's Comprehensive Oral Fluid Solution

Throughout ADLM 2026, CURA's comprehensive oral fluid toxicology solution attracted significant interest from laboratories and industry leaders.

Our integrated solution is designed to support the oral fluid testing workflow from sample collection and rapid screening through automated sample preparation and laboratory confirmation. By developing technologies across the testing workflow, CURA aims to make oral fluid drug testing more efficient, reliable, scalable, affordable and user-friendly.

During the conference, our team held a number of highly productive meetings with industry leaders to discuss potential collaborations and opportunities to advance oral fluid testing and mSPE technology. We are excited about the conversations initiated at ADLM and look forward to continuing these discussions in the months ahead.

Next Stop: SOFT 2026 in Chicago

The momentum continues! CURA Diagnostics will be attending the 2026 Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) Annual Meeting, September 19–24 in Chicago.

Visit CURA at Booth #522 to learn more about our latest technologies and solutions for toxicology laboratories.

CURA will also present new research evaluating our oral fluid collection technology:

Poster Presentation:
“Evaluation of a Novel Oral Fluid Collection Device: Drug Recovery, Matrix Effects, and Analyte Stability”

The study evaluates key analytical performance characteristics of CURA's novel oral fluid collection device, including drug recovery, matrix effects, and analyte stability—important considerations for reliable oral fluid toxicology testing.

We look forward to reconnecting with colleagues, customers, collaborators, and industry partners in Chicago and continuing the conversation about the future of oral fluid drug testing.

See you at SOFT 2026 — Booth #522!

Together, Building Future.
